Substitute David Nouaba scored 18 points, Rodney Houdie and Colin Sexton added 16 points each while JR Smith scored 13 points, making the team their second win in 13 games this season.
The Cavaliers suffer this season after the departure of their first star LeBron James, and his move to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In other games, James Hardenne scored 22 points and 11 assists to lead the Houston Rockets to a 109-99 victory over Denver Nuggets.
